Clouden Commits to SUNY Courtland

Exeter, NH — Seacoast Spartan Andrew Clouden, has committed to Cortland State University, for the fall of 2021.

The ’00 defenseman joined the Spartans this year and has been a staple on the Seacoast blueline. For the Hamburg, New York native, Cortland State was the clear choice. He is excited about playing his college hockey in his home state.

“I was sure that Cloudy would be a great addition to our team and I was not wrong, said Coach Brett Tryder. He is strong in all three zones and plays the physical style game that the SUNY Conference is known for. I have trust in Cortland Coach Cardarelli I am excited for him to begin his career in the Fall.”

Drew had a few thoughts about his time with the Spartans:

“Playing with Seacoast has been nothing less than great. Coach Tryder and Coach Wallin have helped me develop and grow as a hockey player. Combining that with the exposure that the EHL provides, has allowed me to further my career at the NCAA level. I enjoyed my tour of Cortland and I am looking forward to playing for Coach Cardarelli next season, at Cortland State.”
