Spartans eSports Academy Customer Service Representative

We are looking for a new team member who is passionate about Youth Sports, specifically eSports. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who works well in a team environment and has strong communication skills. We actually mean this! 

You are the face and the voice of our brand.

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Keep front-facing operations clean and presentable. 
  • Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive
  • Help guests sign-in, purchase time and escort them to their seats
  • Answer incoming calls and address customer inquiries while providing excellent customer service
  • Accurately handle all customer transactions using point of sale system
  • Become proficient in using our internal eSports Center software
  • Up-sell additional products when appropriate
  • Assist event organizers in running tournaments and or programs
  • Collect at least 2 pieces of content per shift to be shared with our Marketing department that is specific to Twitter, Instagram and Tik Tok
  • Preferred knowledge of Computer Gaming.

QUALIFICATIONS:

What you bring to the team:

  • Familiarity with how to use computers & gaming consoles
  • Proficient in English (oral and written), additional languages are a plus.
  • Strong communication, organization, multitasking and people skills
  • Basic math skills
  • Basic knowledge of eSports and video games
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Knowledge of the proper etiquette and service standards
  • Monitor activities to ensure adherence to rules and safety procedures.
  • Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
  • Maintain knowledge of the company and the areas to ensure guests have the correct information.
  • Expected at all times to handle themselves in front of all guests and staff in a professional manner.
  • Every employee is responsible for center cleanliness
  • Self –Starter

ESPORTS coach Requirements / Qualifications

Qualifications: 

Ability to: 

  1. Teach the fundamental, physical, and mental skills needed in esports.
  2. Promote academic excellence within the Spartans eSports Academy.
  3. Foster a desire to promote school spirit and a positive community climate. 
  4. Communicate with staff, players, and parents with character and competence.
