Louis Valente Commits to Worcester State University
“This is another one of those fits that you feel great about,” said Head Coach Brett Tryder, “I knew that Louis played the MASCAC style, the minute I saw him. Coach Toporowski is going to love his grit and work ethic. He had originally planned on coming back to us for another year but I am very happy to see him reach his goal of playing college hockey.”
Louis had a couple of things to say about his year at Seacoast and his excitement about the upcoming season. “It’s always been my goal to play college hockey! I would like to personally thank Coach Tryder and the Seacoast Spartans for giving me the opportunity to grow on and off the ice allowing me to achieve this goal. I am really looking forward to playing for both Coach Toporowski and Coach Coughlin next season.”
Tryder finished, “Although we will miss not having Louis this year, I feel great about him reaching his goal. Louis is a tough, hard-working player that is tough to play against. The kind of kid that you are glad is on your team. Worcester is getting a loyal and dedicated teammate, and one heck of a player.”
