Exeter, NH — Captain Kenny Maxwell, two-year Spartan, headed to Elmira College, in the fall of 2023.
The ’02 forward from Middletown, NJ was a great 200-foot player for the Spartans, and was the lone Captain during the Spartans 22/23, campaign. Maxwell totaled 42 points in 42 games.
“I am thankful for all that Kenny brought to the Spartan’s success and culture,” stated Coach Tryder. “He was our team leader and set the example, from day one of training camp. He led by example and did the job of three men, as our only Captain. Kenny can play in all situations and is a hardworking and talented player. I am sure that he will be an asset to Elmira, which has a rich history in the college hockey world.”
My past two years at Seacoast were nothing short of amazing. I grew as a player and more importantly, as a person. Being part of such a close-knit team and organization is something that you never want to end. When it did, I can confidently say that I left a better man and was ready for whatever life could throw my way. I am truly thankful for all of the people that I have met there and the endless support that I have received. Coach Tryder has prepared me in every way possible and I can’t wait to take, what I have learned, to Elmira College.
